Job Summary
Purdue’s Office of Summer and Winter Sessions is looking to hire 1-2 OSWS Office Ambassador student employment positions for the 2025-26 academic year. Applicants must be enrolled at Purdue University, be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, meet the GPA requirement, and be in good standing for academics and behavior. Experience with summer and winter programming/courses is preferred but not required.
JOB DUTIES
- Assist with office administrative tasks, outreach, recruitment, and programs to engage prospective, admitted, and current Purdue students and their families
- Maintain attention to detail in administrative tasks
- Represent office at on-campus outreach and recruitment events to share program information
- Support campus events (set-up/tear-down)
- Serve as a resource for students and prospects inquiring about summer sessions
- Respond professionally to questions via email and/or phone
- Create and manage assigned projects to completion (ex: social media and video content to promote office programs and services)
- Assist in managing social media sites
COMPENSATION AND HOURS
- $11.00/hour
- Academic year average: 10-15 hours/week
- Potential summer hours

Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled at Purdue University
- Completed a minimum of one semester of college coursework
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and dependable, meet deadlines
- Customer service-oriented
- Previous experience with OSWS programs, preferred
