Job Summary
Residential Academic Initiatives (RAI) is a unit within University Residences. The Project Coordinator serves under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Learning Communities and works closely with the Residential Academic Initiatives Director in providing administrative and programmatic support for Learning Communities and academic initiatives. Responsible for administering programs to meet RAI objectives, the Project Coordinator will focus on events/initiatives supported by alternative funds. In collaboration with leadership this position will participate in the development and implementation of program policies, processes, and procedures. The Project Coordinator will implement and maintain processes and solutions to assess RAI programming and will collaborate to implement new program initiatives. Responsible for facilitating communications and fostering relationships with internal and external constituents.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, management, or related field.
- Two years of professional work experience in event planning, program management, or related.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience teaching or educational programming in a higher education setting.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including faculty and professional staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and programs that involve various stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds and teamwork in daily work activity.
- Attention to detail and ability to gather and disseminate data to a varied audience
- Skills in decision making and multi-tasking.
What is helpful:
- Master's degree in higher education, student affairs. education, curriculum studies, or other relevant area.
- Experience working with learning communities, living-learning programs, and/or residential colleges.
- Experience supervising students and/or graduate students.
- Experience in basic data analysis and assessment techniques.
