Job Summary
The student in this position will primarily be working in a collaborative environment to develop and enhance tools for a variety of healthcare engineering projects. This will involve creating, modifying, and/or porting programs that may work with medical imaging (DICOMs), databases, as well as work with web-based APIs and interfaces. Through this experience, the student will have an opportunity to build skills in multiple areas of healthcare-related software engineering.
Required:
* Experience using Linux/Unix systems required.
* Experience using scripting languages such as Python and Matlab.
* Familiarity with relational databases and SQL required.
Preferred:
* Familiarity with web languages such as PHP, .NET, Node.js or similar.
* Familiarity with REST web services preferred.
* Familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting preferred.
