Associate Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

 Provide clerical support for nine Learning Design and Technology (LDT) faculty members and one FACS faculty member, as well as the Senior Instructional Designer, and Senior Program Manager for the Online MS program.  Handle all inquiries:  email, telephone and walk-ins,  inquiries regarding the various Learning Design and Technology Master's and Ph.D. program and the FACS teacher education programs.  Greet and direct visitors to various computer labs, classes and other areas.  Initiate reimbursements, credit cards, and professional membership forms for faculty.  Assist with and review program course scheduling.  Coordinate Study Abroad programs with faculty leads.  Handle all outgoing mailings, packages, and FedEx, UPS overnight mailings.  In charge of all supplies and ordering.  Maintain office supply cabinet. 


  • High-School diploma/GED
  • One or more years of experience in an administrative support,  customer service or clerical role
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer and related software skills to include Word, Outlook, Internet, etc.
  • Typing, drafting, filing, and data entry skills
