Administrative Assistant - Undergraduate Coordinator

Job Summary


Provide administrative support for an individual, group of professionals, department, program or other administrative function. Perform a variety of administrative tasks including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings and events, arranging travel or handling incoming inquiries. Create agendas, flyers, or promotional materials. Update and maintain websites, databases and mailing lists. Assist in preparing reports.  


This position will provide high-level support for our undergraduate program in serving as a liaison to students, college student success administrators, and SLHS undergraduate committees. This position will also work directly with the Heads office and their designee on Undergraduate related initiatives.




  • Provides administrative Assistance as the Undergraduate liaison/coordinator for all Undergraduate student success and curriculum programming.
  • Assists with UG initiatives as assigned by the Heads office or their designee
  • Coordinates internships and experiential learning opportunities
  • Works with faculty to update curricular opportunities and communicate procedures related to credits
  • Works with heads office or their designee to set up and maintain volunteer and observation opportunities portal.



  • High school diploma/GED. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative support role.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
  • Typing, drafting, filing, data entry, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to identify routine problems and implement or recommend solutions.
