Job Summary
Support Purdue University’s recruitment and retention goals as a recognized subject matter expert by leading outreach efforts within the Division of Financial Aid. Plan, develop, and implement outreach initiatives that provide accurate financial aid information while engaging prospective and current students, families, and other stakeholders. Serve as primary liaison with the Office of Admissions, campus partners, and other community organizations at various prospective, admitted, or current student outreach programs, orientation events, and counseling activities. Coordinate and lead the development and implementation of all communications within DFA, including forms, direct student emails, Ellucian Banner messages, student aid notifications, and other system and electronic communications. Coordinate with Enrollment Management Strategic Communications and Initiatives (EMSCI) to help create cohesive Financial Aid communications and ensure adherence of DFA communications with university brand guidelines. Represent DFA on university-wide communication and recruitment committees and groups. Serve as a member of the operations team within the Division of Financial Aid and develop and deliver staff training on Financial Aid topics of communication and outreach initiatives.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
 - Six (6) years of professional experience in an administrative setting.
 
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and an excellent ability to communicate effectively orally and through email with a wide-ranging group of students, parents, and colleagues
 - Excellent analytical skills
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 - Expert familiarity with technical programs (such as software or virtual meetings Cascade, WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Slate) and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
 
Nice to Have:
- Higher education experience
 - Experience in outreach, engagement, public speaking, or administrative roles, preferably within higher education
 - Experience in InDesign

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $54,900.00 to $65,00.00. The final salary offer will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, available budget, and relevant experience.
