Assistant Director, Packaging and Funds Management

Job Summary

The Assistant Director has overall responsibility for the supervision of staff involved in awarding institutional aid within the context of Division of Financial Aid policy. This role assists the Executive Director and Associate Director with the coordination/development and the implementation of the institutional awarding strategy and funds management processes. You will work extensively with the Associate Director, EMAR, and data area staff to coordinate all systems analysis and programming activities related to auto packaging of federal, state and institutional financial aid. You will also serve as a member of the management team within the Division of Financial Aid for daily operations. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of counseling information and training materials for all programs within areas of responsibility, as well as managing the disbursement of financial aid and resolving aid that exceeds need and/or cost of attendance. 

 

This role will work in a hybrid work environment.

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Six years of financial aid or related experience.
  • Supervisory skills with excellent analytical and counseling skills.
  • Experience with automated systems.

Preferred:

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of federal aid policies and regulations.
