Assistant Professor of Practice, Computing Infrastructure and Networking Engineering Technology
Job Summary
Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice (Non-Tenure Track) position at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2023. Exceptional candidates are sought to join our fast-growing department and academic programs. This full-time position is in the area of Computing Infrastructure and Networking Engineering Technology.
Responsibilities include undergraduate instruction, teaching a variety of information technology courses with a focus on Computing Infrastructure and Network Engineering Technology (IT Architectures, Routing, Switching, Network Administration, Network Security). Additionally, the successful candidate will help develop curricular materials and laboratory experiences and engage with the campus community and colleagues within the computing discipline.

Qualifications
All candidates must have an earned M.S. degree in computer and information technology or a related field by the start of employment and three years’ prior experience in Information Technology or a related discipline. Prior teaching experience is preferable but not required.
