As we embark on an era of unprecedented technological advancements, we are on the lookout for multiple Assistant or Associate Professors of Practice ready to shape the minds of our next generation. By joining us, you will be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding department, contributing to various domains of computer and information technology.

 

We are particularly interested in individuals who possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:

 

  • Cybersecurity and Cyber Forensics: Delves into the protection of systems from cyber threats and the investigation of cybercrimes, aligning with our majors that train students to ensure digital safety and forensic proficiency in a connected world.
  • Data Analytics, Technologies, and Applications: Focusing on the extraction of meaningful insights from vast sets of data, this specialization complements our majors that equip students with the skills to harness the power of big data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
  • Computer and Information Technology: Central to creating robust and efficient applications, our majors in this realm empower students to design, develop, and test software solutions that cater to evolving technological demands all while utilizing best of breed methodologies such as agile and DevOps.
  • Computing Infrastructure and Network Engineering Technology: This domain addresses the foundational and advanced aspects of computing infrastructure and the intricacies of network design and maintenance, resonating with our majors that prepare students to construct and manage resilient tech ecosystems.
  • Computing Systems Analysis and Design: By emphasizing the understanding and optimization of computer systems and their design, our majors in this area analyze user needs and design tailored software and systems solutions, bridging the gap between technology and functionality. In addition, they learn and practice the knowledge areas of contemporary project management to prepare them for roles in project leadership.

Job Duties

As a vital member of our faculty, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of delivering high-quality lectures, designing interactive labs, creating comprehensive course assessments, and leading a team of dedicated teaching assistants. Qualifications

Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree or Ph.D., or expect to complete their Master’s Degree or Ph.D. by August 2024, in Computer and Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience is preferred.

Compensation

$90,000 - $105,000
