Assoc. Director of Marketing

Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to ensure the key marketing messages and sell points of all business school educational programs (as assigned – including but not limited to Undergraduate, Graduate, Online, and Executive programs) are being communicated to prospective students across a variety of channels, including, CRM systems, the website, email marketing, social media, and digital/printed materials. Responsible for developing and executing detailed marketing plans for each program of study impacting enrollment and revenue growth as defined in strategic goals.  Serves as a lead member of the marketing team and works with and supports marketing services for various departments and centers across the Daniels School of Business as assigned, including but not limited to research and affinity centers, development, alumni relations, and BCS, including creating and developing marketing materials and strategies for each are as needed. Serve as an integral part of the Daniels Marketing and Communications Office.

Hybrid work will be considered for this position based on the candidate’s location and interest. Will need to be on campus 3 days a week.

Required:

  • A degree in business/management, marketing, communication, or related field
  • 6 years experience in a marketing related field with experience developing and executing a detailed marketing plan, including website, social media, email marketing, digital media, project management, and design of digital and printed materials
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience
  • Must be capable of managing complex processes, supervising a staff of full-time employee(s), graduate and undergraduate students, interacting positively with diverse populations, thinking creatively, and working independently
  • Ability to manage the image of the Daniels educational portfolio of programs (which may include Undergraduate, Graduate, Online, and Executive programs – as assigned) and promote them using a full range of marketing, promotional, and social media techniques and strategies
  • Executing a detailed marketing plan, including website, social media, email marketing, digital media, project management, and design of digital and printed materials
  • Experience in developing and managing program budgets
  • Experience working in content management systems
  • Experience in marketing data and analytics, as well as strategy development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and associated budgets with multiple

 

Preferred:

  • MBA and/or other Master's degree 
  • Experience in higher education 
  • Digital marketing and business-to-business experience
