CPB Laboratory Technician - Temporary Service
Our research is focusing comparative genomics and genetics using zebrafish model system and mammalian cell lines to better understand human cancer biology and vertebrate embryology. Projects in our lab are using cutting‐edge genome editing technology such as CRISPR, Tol2 transposon based transgenesis, fluorescence imaging and microinjection, biochemistry and molecular biology. This technician will be responsible for routine zebrafish facility maintenance, general laboratory support and management, and helping graduate students.
Candidates must have a B.S. or B.A. or higher degree in a biological or related filed, and be enthusiastic about science. The desire and ability to work with other lab members are essential.
Prior laboratory experiences, especially with animal husbandry, and techniques such as PCR, plasmid preparations, Western Blot, flow cytometry, human cell culture, microinjection, and imaging are strongly preferred but not required.
