Department Head and Professor of CIT

Job Summary

The Polytechnic Institute invites nominations and applications for the position of Department Head, Computer and Information Technology (CIT). The department head reports to the Dean of the college and is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day leadership of the department in academic, administrative, budgetary, and personnel decisions.

  

The Department

The CIT department offers a robust program with 32 faculty at the West Lafayette campus and 6 faculty at the Polytechnic-Statewide locations. The department currently offers degrees in Information Technology to 960 undergraduate students and 180 graduate students at the West Lafayette campus, with several concentration areas including, but not limited to system analysis and design, data analytics, cybersecurity and digital forensics, computing infrastructure and network engineering, and high performance and cloud computing. More information can be found at https://polytechnic.purdue.edu/departments/computer-and-information-technology
