Director of Teaching and Learning

Job Summary

The Krannert School of Management is seeking an accomplished, proven professional to lead a major shift in the design, delivery and innovativeness of our undergraduate curriculum. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the design of the school’s pedagogy, develop peer mentoring and coaching in instruction across the school’s faculty, ensure use of state-of-the-art instructional technologies and techniques, foster assurance of learning across the curriculum, and drive the faculty towards instructional excellence across all programs.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in management or education-related field (Ph.D. preferred)  
  • 7 years of experience in higher education with at least 2 years of experience in project management within an instructional design context.  
  • Experience applying universal design principles for learning and accessibility preferred.            
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • High ability to communicate effectively with faculty, administrators, students, and community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated creativity in solving problems.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
