Enrollment Analyst

Job Summary

This is a professional position that will extract, manipulate, analyze and assess data to support information requests and enable informed decision-making for the Enrollment Management offices.  This role will also provide reporting to support the operational needs of the Registrar, Admissions and Financial Aid.  Provide reporting to help maintain undergraduate enrollment in relation to enrollment management goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Writing reports, utilizing Cognos, Tableau, and other reporting tools, to support the Enrollment Management offices and the University at large in conducting business around the use of studet and financial aid data.  This task requires the ability to gather requirements and understand the business needs around student and financial aid data.
  • Maintain and support our Standard Content library of reports to ensure they are up to date with any changes to business processes made within Enrollment Management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to all standard content reports through the University documentation tool, Cookbook.  Maintain documentation for all adhoc requests as well as internal reporting processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • BA/BS
  • Two or more years of experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability in data extraction and manipulation, analytical reasoning, and summarizing information for presentations
  • Ability to gather requirements, provide support, analysis, extract data and provide summaries of the data
  • Ability to work with large, complex data files
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated with attention to detail and a focus on quality

What is Helpful:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Education or a related field
  • Experience with SQL, Cognos, Tableau, analytical software, Excel, PowerPoint
