Graduate Admissions Coordinator

Job Summary

Purdue University and the Krannert School of Management is looking for two candidates to fill the role of Graduate Admissions Coordinators. Reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, these full-time positions are part of the Krannert Graduate Admissions team. This would include, but not limited to, conducting the initial read and review of all Krannert Masters Programs applications for quality control process and reviewing and entering financial aid decisions in Slate and the Division of Financial Aid database.

 

Krannert Graduate Admissions team provides leadership, support, service, and essential infrastructure for attracting, admitting, and yielding a talented and diverse graduate student body. By being a part Members of the Krannert Graduate Admissions team assist in the initial application review and the administration of financial aid and scholarships for incoming Krannert Masters students. They also assist in the initial application review with a focus in Krannert Online Programs for incoming Krannert Masters students.

Required:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Three (3) years of experience with application processing, communicating with prospective students, or related field
  • Understanding of admissions and financial aid policy and procedure
  • Ability to collaborate with and engage diverse populations including international students, corporate leadership, students, and seasoned professionals
  • Passion for student engagement, student development, and management education
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to attend to details and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to supervise student workers
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Understanding of admissions and financial aid policy and procedure
  • Maintain confidentiality and have/obtain FERPA certification
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends

 

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree
  • Knowledge of Admissions /Financial Aid Systems and CRM
