Graduate Program Administrator

Serve as manager of the in-residence graduate programs in the Department of Agricultural Economics. Serve as advisor to the approximately 80 graduate students enrolled in the department’s graduate degree programs (which include PhD and MS in agricultural economics, a professional Masters in international agribusiness, and any future graduate programs that the department may develop). Total travel for this position (domestic and international) could be as much as 10%.



  • Master's degree in agricultural economics, economics, MBA, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in graduate program recruiting and management or related experience
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required experience (Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience)
  • Experience with making presentations to groups
  • Ability to implement multiple projects to successful completion
  • Ability to work independently, handle management responsibilities with very little direct supervision, and strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills for working relationships with prospective students, alumni and faculty
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international)



  • Experience working in higher education, business school, corporate roles or management
