Graduate Program Coordinator

Job Summary

Provide high-level administrative support for an individual, group of professionals, or an executive level position. Independently perform non-routine administrative functions such as coordinate events, conduct research, prepare reports or handle special projects. Draft and edit correspondence, promotional materials or presentations. May monitor operating budget and maintain financial records. Handle non-routine inquiries and issues from internal and external sources.



  • Bachelor's in public health or related health field 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
  • Work experience in the areas of community development, public health education, distance learning, grantsmanship, or administration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Must be able to collaborate with staff and faculty
  • Basic skills in Outlook, word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • A diverse set of skills - strength in one or two will be adequate


  • Familiarity with the public health field (government & non-government) and academic environment preferred
  • Familiarity with University processes

•    This was formerly classified as an operational/technical position; an internal lateral transfer will retain same benefit standing
