Job Summary
Under the immediate guidance of the Director, the Graduate System Management & Training Coordinator is an entry-level professional contributor who uses established procedures to independently manage and coordinate user account access for the Graduate Records Management (GRM) system, including account set up, maintenance, and inactivation. Reviews and responds to, or routes, incoming GRM cases related to student data corrections or record modification requests, escalating complex cases. Assist with providing training for GRM users and assist with documentation reflecting ADA-compliant training materials for key academic processes. Maintains office web content and training resources in alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and applicable University standards. With Supervision, maintains and updates program and process requirements and routing configurations according to established standards and approved requests. Monitors data feeds to validate accuracy in cross-system data flows and documents/escalates discrepancies using established procedures. Recommends and implements minor system and process improvements to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience. Provides operational support to other areas of Records and the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars (OGSPS). Works independently on day-to-day GRM operational support and identifies, defines, and addresses problems that are typically not complex.
What We're Looking For:
- BA/BS degree in Communication, Technology, business, education, or a related field
- Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of required education and related work experience
- Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, database management, etc.
- Proven Ability to assess challenges, synthesize information, and support effective strategies for resolution
