Image Analysis Research Scientist

Job Summary

  • PhD in statistics, bioinformatics, biology, or related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in fundamental concepts in statistical data analysis, image processing, and spatial statistics, with existing image processing tools (e.g., Imaris, ImageJ/Fiji, CellProfiler, KNIME and one or more programming languages commonly used for data analysis (R, Python, Matlab, Java)
  • Ability to develop reusable, self-contained, portable data analysis pipelines and project-specific code in R, Matlab, Python, Julia, and/or Java
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of basic statistical concepts, spatial statistics, and image processing, as well as analytic and machine learning approaches to spatial data or image analysis
