Laboratory Technician (Toxicology)

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform routine or specialized diagnostic tests for the detection and/or quantification of trace minerals/toxins/toxicants in environmental samples, feedstuffs and biological specimens from animals in support of the diagnostic and diagnostic research missions of the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL).



  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field (Veterinary technical degrees may also be considered)
  • 6 months of laboratory experience  
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required experience (Associate’s degree and two and a half years of relevant work experience)   
  • Must have the ability to multitask and be flexible in order to accomplish daily tasks
  • Ability to work independently under moderate supervision



  • Degree in biology or animal sciences
