Job Summary
This role serves as the distinguished first point of contact for the Office of the President—welcoming guests, screening calls and walk-ins, and ensuring that information and referrals are delivered promptly and professionally to the right offices. Key responsibilities include orchestrating and monitoring the flow of all correspondence, expertly managing the President’s conference room schedule, arranging visitor parking, and guaranteeing that the reception area is maintained for daily activity.
Beyond primary duties, this position provides essential administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the President, requiring the highest level of discretion and confidentiality, as safeguarding sensitive information is paramount. You will also assist Cabinet Level members as needed, step in as backup for logistics and scheduling, and collaborate frequently with campus offices to fuel smooth operations at every turn.

What We're Looking For:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Four or more years of experience in an administrative support role
- Considerable experience supporting executives or senior leaders, with polished communication and proven discretion in confidential matters
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as this role crafts and perfects a wide range of communications and correspondence on behalf of the President’s Office
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and outside the university to fulfill department needs
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve issues or drive process improvements proactively
- High-level organization, ability to multitask under pressure, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a rapidly changing environment
- Advanced technology skills with expertise in Microsoft Office and related tools to support document, calendar, and visitor management
