What You'll be Doing:
As the Night Lead Custodian, you will:
- Supervise up to 18 custodians
- Plan and coordinate daily work assignments to cover vacancies, provide continuous delivery of services, and ensure equitable distribution of work
- May require knowledge of specialized equipment, cleaning products, processes and procedures, or situations (examples: carpet and upholstery cleaning, working in cleanrooms, bio-labs and research areas, etc.)
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Schedule lengthy or complex tasks to minimize disruption to building tenants and interference with building activities. Perform quality assurance inspections and ensure remedial actions are taken if needed
- Foster teamwork and communication within the working group
- Report daily absences, tardiness or early departures to supervisor
- Address employee conflicts and work with supervisor to resolve them
- Recommend appropriate disciplinary action, as needed
- Submit accident reports. Communicate relevant policies and procedures

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm to 7:00am
Hourly Pay: $19.25 plus a shift differential of $.70for a total of $19.95
What We Are Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified Candidates Will Need:
- High school diploma/GED
- A valid US or Canadian driver's license
- 2 years of custodial experience with 4 years of total work experience
- 1 year of supervision experience
Skills Needed:
- Must have completed initial entry training, or be enrolled in program within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to functionally supervise and train moderate sized (12 – 18) groups
- Ability to read, write and speak English is required; must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers, fill out work orders, give and direct work assignments, and communicate both verbally and in writing with customers
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematics
- Good work organization ability
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Must be able to work well with others
- Working knowledge of powered and non-powered floor care equipment
- Computer experience
- Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding building maintenance and security
- Ability to lift and carry 10 to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally required
- Required to work outdoors 10% of the time in temperatures below 32 degrees
