Reserach Operations Project Manager

Job Summary

The Research Operations Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of existing research centers.  It will provide direction for the development of projects and initiatives; interpret and convey policies and procedures; plan operational objectives related to data management, inventory, travel, and general administrative tasks; plan and execute events including workshops; facilitate communications between multiple departments within the University and external constituents including collaborators. The position will liaise with Sponsored Programs to accelerate contracting process

What We Are Looking For



  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, science, engineering, marketing, or a related field
  • One (1) year of administrative experience
  • In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience will be considered
    • For example, an Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience



  • 2-3 years of relevant experience                     



  • Excellent communication skills with both inside and outside stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all constituents
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data analysis abilities
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work together as part of a team as well as independently
