Operations Clerk

Job Summary

As a valued member of the Purdue Memorial Union team, the Operations Clerk will assist with the shipping, receiving, and delivery of products and supplies in the Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center. The position will work collaboratively with several campus partners, PMU operations and setup teams, as well as building tenants, including the Union Club Hotel and Purdue Food Company. Physical requirements of the job require frequent heavy lifting/moving and may require flexible scheduling based on operational needs.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience:

• High School Degree or GED 
• Three (3) years shipping and receiving experience required

Skills Needed:

• The ability to solve problems quickly and independently
• Effective decision-making under time and resource constraints
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Written and verbal communication
• Quickly learn and become competent with excel, Ariba, dock procedures, and storeroom policies
• Functional competencies in word processing
