Payment Card & e-Commerce Analyst

Job Summary

The position of Payment Card & e-Commerce Analyst is responsible for university-wide merchant card and e-commerce service activities, related data security, business process and implementations. Evaluate changes in merchant card environment and recommend appropriate changes in University policy. Implement new merchant setups and related software/hardware components. Responsible for analysis of merchant activity and recharge fees. Serve as liaison with IT Security for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Compliancy and ensure the University operations are annually certified with these standards.
 
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
  • Four years of IT, merchant, or treasury services, IT security, or related experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, analytical and customer service skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining the flexibility to respond to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated skills and ability to solve complex business and/or information systems problems with little or no precedent
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data validity and effectiveness of system controls
  • Demonstrated ability to foster change and deliver business results using effective technology, communication, problem identification, and resolution
  • Ability to work independently and in a project team environment
  • Ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels in a professional manner
  • Ability to self-manage time-sensitive directives
  • Must possess a learning orientation to changing technology impacting business processes
  • Ability to travel across campus and to regional campuses
     

Preferred:

  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional)
  • Experience with/knowledge of credit card standards and acceptance procedures
