Job Summary
Purdue University Research Practice Partnership in Indiana (REPPIN) project is hosted through the Center for Early Learning in the Department of Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) at Purdue University. This research program consists of three projects aimed at determining the critical ingredients of high-quality preschools within Indiana, assessing practical components of early childhood curricula, and identifying gaps in the state’s birth-5 early learning system. A core focus of these projects is informing strategic investments and enhancements to early education programs and policies within Indiana. The postdoc will also join a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary department and contribute to the innovative and high-impact research within the Center for Early Learning.
This is an on-campus position with a start date of ideally August 1, 2023, but no later than January 2, 2024. The job is for one year initially, with the potential for an additional year depending on performance. Responsibilities may include scientific contributions to ongoing REPPIN projects, leading new research projects, manuscript preparation, conference presentations, project coordination, and developing and implementing dissemination products for policymakers, state partners, families, and other community members.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in HDFS, Education, Psychology, or a related field by the start of the employment
- Research interests in early childhood education, learning, and development
- Vital research and analytic skills
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Quantitative and mixed-methods training
- Ability to work collaboratively with a large, interdisciplinary research team
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders
