Job Summary
The James Tarpo Jr. and Margaret Tarpo Department of Chemistry
We are inviting applications for a postdoctoral associate position in Physical Chemistry. Traditional microwave or infrared laser spectroscopy is limited by restrictive selection rules, particularly in molecules with high symmetry. We develop non-linear laser spectroscopy techniques with high sensitivity, resolution, and frequency tunability to access the entire molecular state space and open up new opportunities in quantum science. We are also interested in optically manipulating collective properties of molecular crystals. Applicants should have a strong experimental background and a PhD in physics, engineering, or chemistry prior to the start date.
Please email Prof. Lee R. Liu at leeliu@purdue.edu with your CV, contact information for 2-3 references, and a brief research statement outlining your interests and past experience. Review of applications will continue until this position is filled.
