Job Summary

Join the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University as the Recruitment Team Coordinator! In this role, you'll support our recruitment strategy and enrollment goals. You'll manage Purdue’s CRM system, Slate, to organize events, develop communication pieces, and analyze recruitment data.

 

Collaborate with Daniels Marketing and Purdue’s Enrollment Management Communications to ensure alignment with Purdue's brand. Schedule prospective student visits and information sessions, and manage the undergraduate recruitment email, ensuring timely responses and enhancing the visit experience.

 

Gather and analyze data from various sources to track engagement, predict trends, and inform future recruitment plans. You'll help attract well-qualified first-year and transfer students, effectively communicating with prospective students, parents, and key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in business/management, marketing, communications, public relations, education or a related field
  • Two  years of work experience in project management, event planning, administrative professional work, customer service, higher education work experience, or related experience 

 

Skills Needed:

  • Ability to communicate consistently with prospective students, families, and key stakeholders via 1:1 appointments, presentations, and special events to grow enrollment
  • Proficiency with software applications, including MS Office
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Skilled in collaborating and communicating to build relationships with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in event planning and writing/editing content
  • Experience with Slate, Cognos, Qualtrics, and Delivra software systems
