Registration Specialist
About Our Opportunity:
This position will work in a hybrid capacity with a combination of onsite and remote work.
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with current students and families, community-based organizations, and campus partners. Additionally, this position requires the ability to think quickly, critically, and independently, using problem-solving and judgment skills to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. This individual conducts audits on student records to ensure compliance with University regulations, and State and Federal compliance. To do this, they must act swiftly and confidently to make and justify hard decisions. They must balance multiple priorities at once; time management, multitasking, and intrinsic motivation are necessary for this role. The successful candidate will understand and support the benefits of a diverse campus community and value the perspective of others. This position will frequently engage, both in-person and virtually, with current students, their families, and campus partners. As a member of the Records and Registration Team, this position will contribute to the overall goal of academic integrity in alignment with the University Regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- One year of experience in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience (IE: High School Diploma + 5 years of experience).
- Intermediate level mastery of Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. Motivated individual with ability to efficiently multi-task, work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience working with faculty, staff, and students in a large multi-campus research university.
