Research Technician, Health & Kinesiology

Job Summary

The Research Technician will work in the Department of Health and Kinesiology to support daily aspects of research in the lab, including providing guidance to undergraduate research assistants, preparing Institutional Review Boards documentation, monitoring participant recruitment, collecting data, processing data, maintaining laboratory equipment, scheduling research subjects, and promoting a positive lab culture.



  • Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or related field
  • Six (6) months of experience working with human subjects research
  • Basic knowledge of human physiology
  • Knowledge of core principles of exercise training
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with others
  • High level of commitment to professionalism, ethics, and integrity
  • Conscientious, self-motivated, responsive, and outstanding attention to detail
