Research Technician

Job Summary:

As the Research Technician, you will assist the PI managing laboratory inventory, ordering equipment and supplies, managing laboratory stocks of chemicals and reagents, and assisting lab staff with experiments. You will be expected to prepare and purify protein, maintain cell stocks and DNA plasmids, run enzyme kinetics and inhibition, develop new assays, perform cancer cell inhibition studies and maintain cancer cell culture. You will also maintain records for laboratory including safety training and biohazards protocols.  In this position you will also be participating in precision drug discovery.



What We're Looking For:


Must have:

  • BS degree 
  • with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the areas of biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology 


  • Ability to conduct independent research with clear instruction
  • Independently construct plasmids including incorporating into different expression vector, site-mutagenesis
  • Perform protein purification and characterization
  • Experience with cancer cell culture, genetic method to study the function of interested proteins
