Reserach Operations Project Manager
Job Summary
The Research Operations Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of existing research centers. It will provide direction for the development of projects and initiatives; interpret and convey policies and procedures; plan operational objectives related to data management, inventory, travel, and general administrative tasks; plan and execute events including workshops; facilitate communications between multiple departments within the University and external constituents including collaborators. The position will liaise with Sponsored Programs to accelerate contracting process

What We Are Looking For
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, science, engineering, marketing, or a related field
- One (1) year of administrative experience
- In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience will be considered
- For example, an Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience
PREFERRED:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience

REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication skills with both inside and outside stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships across all constituents
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data analysis abilities
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Proven problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work together as part of a team as well as independently
