Scholarships Writing Consultant and Peace Corps Prep Program Coordinator

Job Summary

As Scholarships Writing Consultant and Peace Corps Prep Program Coordinator, you will provide writing support for applicants to all scholarships in the NISO portfolio and coordination of the Peace Corps Prep certificate.  In this role, you will Provide individual undergraduate and graduate students with feedback on the written components of their scholarship applications, run scholar development workshops for students on topics such as leadership, undergraduate research, and building relationships with faculty. You will also Liaise with the Peace Corps Office of University Programs and Indiana Peace Corps recruiter and coordinate the Events Committee for planning receptions, service events, workshops, etc.

This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week. Benefits do apply. 


  • Bachelor's degree in humanities or education 
  • One year of experience teaching or tutoring students in writing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite


  • Master's degree
