Senior Audio/Visual Technician -Purdue University
Purdue University is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Audio/Visual Technician to lead the installation, maintenance, and operation of audio-visual systems that support our classrooms, meeting spaces, and events. In this role, you will design and oversee AV infrastructure, manage service part inventories, and ensure accurate service documentation. You will also mentor and train student employees, while providing leadership to junior AV technicians during field installations and event setups.

What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
- Four (4) years of audio visual, IT, or related experience
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of audio-visual related equipment
Skills Needed:
- Demonstrated:
- knowledge of AV equipment
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Must demonstrate excellent service attitude and be able to interact with faculty, staff, and students in an appropriate manner
- Ability to:
- troubleshoot and repair a wide range of AV equipment
- work under constant time constraints
- read or learn to read schematics and interpret technical manuals
- work independently or in a team setting
