Senior Administrative Assistant (Hemp and Farmer Licensing Coordinator)

Job Summary

Evaluate hemp grower and processor license applications for state and federal compliance and issue licenses. Evaluate and conduct the annual certification and registration review of all private pesticide and fertilizer applicators and restricted use pesticide dealers who operate in Indiana as required by State law. Grade, post and maintain certification scores for all commercial and private applicators. Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding licensing requirements; provide guidance and legal interpretation of diverse certification requirements.

 

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 4 years of clerical or administrative office experience                            
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Motivated individual with ability to efficiently multi task, work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and determine problems, analyze information and implement solutions
  • Capable of taking initiative, assuming responsibility, adhering to protocols, and handling confidential information with discretion
  • Word processing and data entry skills

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of farming or business regulations
  • Database skills
