Job Summary

The Senior Associate Director of Recruiting, Graduate Programs, is a recognized master in their professional discipline and is a strategic position responsible for creating and overseeing the overall recruitment strategy for the entire portfolio of residential graduate programs, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and goals. This role requires a visionary approach to recruitment, leveraging data-driven insights, innovative outreach methods, and collaborative efforts to achieve and exceed enrollment targets. 

 

The Senior Associate Director manages and evaluates recruitment data using CRM systems (Slate and Salesforce) as part of a systematic review process and collaborates with Admissions, Program Management, Business Career Services, Student Services, and Academic Directors to achieve and develop strategic enrollment targets.

 

In addition, this role will be the lead recruiter for an assigned program which involves engaging with prospective students through various recruiting activities, guiding them through the application process, and implementing specific yielding strategies for assigned programs.

What We’re Looking For:                                

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:

 

  • A Master’s degree in business/management, communications, or a related field
  • Six years of experience in student recruiting, higher education marketing, sales, alumni relations, student services, or academic advising
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and overnight travel (up to 40% travel from mid-August through mid-February). Ability to travel domestically and internationally

 

Skills Needed:

 

  • Proven ability to lead and develop comprehensive recruitment and yield strategies that align with institutional goals and market trends
  • Deep understanding of market trends in graduate management education and the ability to leverage this knowledge to enhance recruitment efforts
  • Expertise in utilizing data analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimize recruitment and yield campaigns
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey and promote the value of the Daniels Graduate programs using a full range of marketing, promotional, and recruiting techniques
  • Expertise in managing complex processes and interacting positively with a varied population. Recommends and implements new processes and operating plans to support the graduate office strategy and operations
  • Ability to think creatively and work independently to develop innovative recruitment strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office products, CRM (Slate and Salesforce), and Admissions Management Systems
