Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will shape the student experience through quantitative and qualitative insights. You will have the opportunity to work with digital and brand teams and agency partners to understand the impact of various activities on student acquisition/retention and provide recommendations for improvement. This position works with different cross-functional teams to measure business performance and build actionable insights to grow the business.

 

This position will help transform Purdue Global from an undifferentiated and misunderstood product into Purdue’s thriving online solution for working adults, preferred by students, employers, and partners. Becoming top-of-mind, meaningful, and distinct with these target audiences will lead to greater student demand, employer demand, and partner demand and improved student outcomes, reputation, and performance. 

 

This is a 100% remote position. Some travel may be required based on business needs.

 

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in data analysis or related experience 
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
  • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python
  • Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, segmentation
  • Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau
  • Problem-solving, accuracy, and attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated experience building organizational relationships, promoting open communication, and collaborating cross-functionally
     

 

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field
