Job Summary
The Service Maintenance Worker will assist with skilled labor duties in the area of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position works in a fully equipped metal shop, carpentry shop and paint shop and will become familiar with specialized carpentry equipment (wood planer, wood jointer, wood lathe, table router, table saw, band saw, dust collection system), and metal equipment (tig welder, stick welder, welding hood, metal brake, metal punch, metal sheer, drill press).
What We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma/GED
- Ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to learn to operate machinery.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Overtime is needed during seasonal sporting and special events
- Valid US or Canadian driver's license
What is helpful:
- General maintenance (Carpentry, welding, plumbing, etc.) or related experience
