Job Summary


About Our Opportunity:

As a Storekeeper, you will: Order, receive and store food items, office, custodial and maintenance supplies. Initiate orders, receive inventory and check accuracy of orders. Maintain stock levels. Distribute items to various locations. Process invoices in a timely manner. Maintain accurate inventory and necessary records. Keep dock and storage areas in clean and safe condition.

What We’re Looking For:    

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • At least two years residence hall food service experience or two years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehousing or related experience.
  • Stable work history and good attendance record 
  • Ability to plan and meet both short term and long term goals 
  • Ability to attain Serve Safe Certification within 3 months 
  • Ability to attain AllerTrain U Certification within 3 months 
  • Valid Driver’s license and MVR required
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, lift and move up to 60 pounds routinely, climb ladders, and stand, walk, reach and stoop extensively. 
  • Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure.
  • Ability to meet daily deadlines 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others, particularly individuals from differing backgrounds and views.
