Job Summary
The Department of Theatre and Dance seeks a student who is a self-starter to assist with marketing and communication efforts. The student will work independently and with a team, to create and implement a social media strategy for the department, with a goal of increasing the department’s social media presence.
Required Experience
- Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Understanding of the basic principles of public relations and/or marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Photoshop is highly desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, good time management, creative, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Initiating innovative ideas and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences.
