Job Summary
Purdue Audio Visual Services has openings for students who will be on campus this summer. We are willing to work with your schedule if you have classes or prior engagements.
Students will be assisting our team with the installation and setup of Audio- Visual equipment across campus. This is a hands-on position with minimal computer work.
Some basics of the job:
- Wiring AV systems, pulling cable, installing monitors, projectors, cameras, mics - all under the supervision of our engineers and technicians.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is very helpful. Any construction experience is a plus.
- Applicants must perform work while on a ladder.
- On occasion they may need to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.
Starting Date: May 11, 2026
Ending Date: August 21, 2026
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch from Noon – 1PM)
