Job Summary
Our team is looking for a Child Care Aide to serve as our Teacher Assistant for the Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School. This role will interact with and assist with teaching children, ages ranging from birth age to 5-year-old children.
Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up and cleaning art activities, snacks, and lunches.
 - Serve as nap time attendant.
 - Assist classroom teachers with children’s activities.
 
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED.
 - Candidate must be at least 21 years of age or older.
 - Relevant work experience.
 
Skills Needed:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
 - Ability to work well with adults and children.
 
What is Helpful:
- Child Development Associates (CDA) or equivalent.
 
Additional Information:

 - This position requires a pre-employment drug screening and a health assessment, including a criminal history background check.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $16.00/hour commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience. The final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including equity, available budget, educational background, and relevant experience.
