Job Summary
The Ben & Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team. The Assistant Teacher will interact with and teach children. This role assists teachers with children from birth to 5-year-old children. In this role, you will set up and clean up art activities, snacks, and lunches. As the Teacher Assistant, you will also serve as the nap time attendant and assist classroom teachers with children’s activities.

What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- Knowledge of children’s development.
Skills Needed:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with and manage children.
What is Helpful:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Child Development Associates (CDA) or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- This position requires a pre-employment drug screening test and health assessment, as well as running a criminal history background check.
