Job Summary

Purdue University is seeking a temporary employee to support the Accessioning Department within the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. The selected candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing client-submitted samples, assisting with daily laboratory intake operations, and accurately entering case data into the laboratory information management system. This individual will also provide backup support to accessioning staff and contribute to overall workflow efficiency as needed of the veterinary diagnostic laboratory.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic knowledge of departmental processes and procedures (or ability to learn quickly).
• Fundamental keyboarding and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Ability to work under close supervision and accept feedback constructively.
• Effective verbal communication skills.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

0-2 years relevant work experiences.
