Compensation Hours/Week
$12.00/hour Spring 2026 semester 5-10 hours per week
Summer Room and Board Summer 2026 35-40 hours per week
Required hours include days, evenings, weekends, overnight hours, and holidays
Position Requirements
Required on-call rotation
Required to live in the assigned hall for the duration of the summer program season
Position is considered a full-time commitment, Internship eligible
No additional employment is permitted
Candidates are not permitted to take summer classes
Target hire date (time to complete paperwork + web certifications): Monday, February 2, 2026
Target start date (first day of training): Monday, February 9, 2026
Position Responsibilities
Communication and customer support with chairpersons or program coordinators of assigned programs
Use of the rooming management system for all program-related activity, including but not limited to:
Letter of Agreement
Guarantee numbers
Roster import/export/changes
Program cards
Billing
Participate in and facilitate the summer employee training
Organize information, assess, and respond appropriately to the needs of the customer
Attend and take part in planning meetings
Track program fees/charges, ensuring accurate billing and customer data
Oversee program check-ins and check-outs
Conduct program orientations and attend the first meal of each designated program
Meet regularly with Summer Program team leadership
Fulfill on-call responsibilities as part of a scheduled rotation
Be accessible in person or by phone to address questions or emergencies, including after-hours support, and complete incident reports or other appropriate documents as needed
Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional conduct when handling sensitive, personal information
Report policy violations and/or University Residences regulation violations
Exemplify promptness, initiative, adaptability, high ethical standards, professional appearance, and demeanor as part of the conference team
Other duties as assigned may include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in linen distribution, collection, and inventory
Helping with the setup and breakdown of program materials and signage
Providing general support during high-traffic check-in/out periods
Assisting with the lost and found coordination of guest inquires
