Job Summary

Purdue Brand Studio Productions seeks a skilled video professional to assist in a variety of productions across Purdue University’s campus. The Video Production Technician will work closely with the department’s Producer/Directors to produce dynamic and engaging media content by providing production and set up support for audio, video, lighting, and other. You will work individually and collaboratively using the latest equipment in the field, in our broadcast studio, and distance learning classroom.  Work alongside a team of award-winning creative professionals on a variety of video projects in a fast-paced, and fun environment.  

The position is on Purdue University’s West Lafayette, Indiana campus.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:                                                                                                       

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Three (3) years of experience (professional or freelance) in proven film/video experience.

 

Skills:

  •  Knowledge of operating 4k field camera systems and recording in various formats.
  • Awareness of Non-Linear Editing software - Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
  • Be a team player who is detail-oriented, a self-starter, and can consistently meet deadlines.
  • Be willing to push oneself and always looking to improve.
