Instructional Technologist

Job Summary

This position will support Faculty of Record for Veterinary Nursing (VN) courses by helping to deliver instruction in Veterinary Nursing distance learning (VNDL) courses, assisting in on-campus VN teaching laboratories, and developing additional course materials (objectives, evaluations, instructional material) as needed.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology or related degree
  • Two years of experience in Veterinary Technology or veterinary profession
  • Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associates degree and 4 years of experience)
  • Must be a registered veterinary technician/equivalent or eligible for credentialing in Indiana
  • Must have excellent communication skills with peers, supervisors, and students
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must possess a service-oriented attitude, positive attitude towards work, and skills to interact in a positive manner with a wide variety of faculty and staff personalities
  • Correspondence, technical, and medical keyboarding skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel  



  • Experience supervising assistants, staff, or students
  • Teaching experience
  • Laboratory and large/farm animal experience
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
