Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager provides operational leadership for Indianapolis EPICS and VIP, advancing student success, experiential learning, assessment, community and industry engagement, and program sustainability. The position coordinates across directors, faculty, students, academic and business offices, communications and technical staff, community organizations, industry partners, sponsors, and alumni.
What You'll Be Doing:
Program management and student support for Indianapolis EPICS and VIP Programs

- Assist students with course registration in coordination with academic advisors

Community and Industry Partners/Sponsors

- Identify, recruit, develop, and steward community and industry partners/sponsors.
- Manage partner relationships and agreements.
Serve as co-instructor/mentor for one EPICS and one VIP team and meet with students as needed outside of lab.
Assessment and Program Improvement

- Collect, organize, analyze, and report program metrics and ABET-related assessment data.
- Maintain tracking systems and use findings to strengthen student services, partner engagement, project delivery, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, student affairs, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Four (4) years of experience in advising, administration, student services, such as academic advisor, schedule deputy, program management and support.
Skills needed:
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of people at all levels, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong attention to detail and proof-reading and editing skills
- Excellent organizational and (verbal and written) communication skills
- Excellent self-motivation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomously with little supervision; acting independently to prioritize and manage workload
- Ability to balance interruptions and multiple and varied tasks; work well both independently and in a team environment
Nice to have:
- Proficiency with schedule and registration systems
